What safety regulations and standards does your seafood and operation adhere to?Updated 8 days ago

Not only is seafood one of the healthiest options for your diet, but according to the CDC, seafood is one of the lowest contributors to foodborne illness in the United States. There are several reasons for this.

We are passionate about ensuring our seafood is safe for you and your family to enjoy. We implement our own practices, maintain meticulous records, and gladly comply with several regulations to ensure you have a great experience!

Regulating bodies that we comply with and follow guidance from include, but are not limited to, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), New York State Department of Agriculture, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), and various state and federal agencies that manage seafood caught in their waters.

In addition, we only purchase the highest-quality seafood and closely inspect all seafood we purchase, cut, pack, and ship, and work closely with suppliers to ensure they do the same. For more details on how we pack and ship your order, check out the "Packaging" section of our FAQs. For safe handling at home, we have put together seafood storage and handling instructions for your reference.
