There is a break in the vacuum seal/the seal is not tight, is the seafood safe to consume?Updated 4 months ago

In rare instances, the vacuum seal might be punctured or loose. In these cases, the seafood is still safe to consume as long as it is cold to the touch and there are no other broken containers like shattered glass or plastic that could cause potential risk.

Remove the fish from the vacuum-sealed wrapping and repackage it into a ziplock bag with all excess air removed. You can store the seafood in the refrigerator or freezer in this manner. If you do not feel comfortable consuming the seafood, please reach out to our customer service team, and they would be happy to discuss a solution to your order experience.
